Who's behind it
Frist Development is led by Jared Foy, a developer-marketer who has spent the last decade shipping marketing sites and the systems that surround them. Engineering-grade but marketer-fluent.
How we work
Small engagements, written briefs, async-first, weekly check-ins. We don't take work we can't do well, and we say no early when a project would be better served somewhere else.
What we believe
- The site is the storyteller. Engineering exists to keep it from interrupting the story.
- Most marketing sites work the same way underneath: a character with a problem meets a guide who has a plan, takes action, and avoids the failure they were heading toward. We start there.
- Tools should be picked for the team that has to use them, not the developer who builds the first version.
- Containers beat monoliths when surfaces have different gravity.
